Muga cotton keeps this saree light on the body with a soft natural sheen that catches the light without looking flashy. It drapes in easy folds and doesn't crease easily through the day, while the resham motifs woven into the body add a bit of texture you can feel when you run a hand over the pallu.
The Craft Behind the Resham Weaving
Resham threads are worked into the pink body in small, evenly placed motifs rather than printed on, so the pattern holds up wash after wash. The pallu shifts into a soft lavender-pink shade with birds and florals woven in gold and navy, bordered by thin metallic lines and finished with matching tassels.
