Muga cotton keeps this saree light and breathable, with a soft natural sheen that shows up gently in the light without looking too shiny. It falls in easy, loose folds and holds up well through a long day, while the resham motifs woven into the lavender body give it a texture you notice more when you touch it than when you look at it.
Resham Weaving Details Worth Noticing
Resham threads are worked into small, evenly placed motifs across the lavender body during the weave, so the pattern is part of the fabric rather than sitting on top of it. The pallu shifts into a golden-yellow shade with lotus buds and birds picked out in pink and navy, bordered by thin metallic lines and finished with matching tassels.
