The Brown Kodi with Mirror Work Blouse is built around a craft tradition that's unmistakably Indian — cowrie shells (kodi) fixed in sunburst clusters around round mirror centres, with a dense double-row border running the full hem. Viscose Rayon Blend fabric gives it a quiet sheen and enough structure to hold shape through long festive evenings.

Viscose Rayon Blend is a soft, semi-shiny fabric that sits lightly on the skin and breathes well in warm weather. It has enough body to hold its shape at the padded cups without being stiff or heavy — so you stay comfortable whether you're dancing through Garba or sitting through a long function.
Kodi work originates from Gujarat and Rajasthan's tribal folk traditions. Each cowrie shell on this blouse is individually hand-fixed, radiating outward from a circular mirror centre in a floral burst pattern. The hem carries a double row — alternating mirrors and kodi — that catches the light and moves with every step. The multicolour shells give it vibrancy without needing any extra embellishment.

The kodi (cowrie shells) and mirror-work on this blouse are hand-applied — each shell is individually placed in a floral cluster pattern. Minor variation between pieces is natural and part of what makes handwork special.
Cowrie shells and mirrors are firmly fixed during assembly. With normal wear and careful hand-washing they hold very well. Avoid snagging on sharp jewellery clasps or zip teeth.
This blouse pairs beautifully with bandhani, leheriya, or plain sarees in bold or contrasting shades. For a full folk-ethnic look, it's even better paired with a chaniya skirt for Navratri or Garba.
Hand wash in cold water with mild detergent. Avoid scrubbing the kodi/mirror border directly. Lay flat to dry in shade. Do not machine wash — the shells and mirror attachments are hand-fixed and need gentle care.
