About the Net Fabric
Net is a sheer, open-weave fabric that gives this saree its characteristic lightness and flow. Because it's semi-transparent, the embroidery and bead work show up from both sides, making the saree look as striking from the back as it does from the front. The fabric doesn't cling but maintains a structured drape when pleated correctly.
The Craft — Sequins, Beads & Pearls
The embroidery covers the saree body, pallu, and blouse piece uniformly. Silver sequins form a diagonal diamond grid across the Net base, with a white pearl bead stitched at every intersection. The border is finished with a double row of pearl beading in a scalloped edge that runs the full length of the saree. The blouse piece carries the same diamond-grid embroidery.
