Faux Georgette is one of those fabrics that looks richer than it feels — it drapes softly, doesn't cling, and gives the three-tiered flare of the Kediya a light, swishy movement. Easy to carry for an evening of dancing without feeling heavy. The red-to-pink Bandhani gradation is well-saturated and the gold gota lace trim between each tier adds structure without being stiff.
The Artistry of the Mirror Work
The entire front yoke of the Kediya is hand-set with mirror pieces of different shapes — squares, circles, diamonds — framed in coloured threads of yellow, blue, and green. These are stitched individually and sit flat against the fabric. The jeans carry mandala-style embroidery with similar mirror detailing, tying both pieces together visually.

The mirror pieces on the Kediya yoke are individually hand-set in coloured thread frames — this is handwork, not machine embroidery. The Bandhani dot pattern is a fabric resist-dyeing technique applied before stitching.
Fabric weight — summer friendly?
Faux Georgette is lightweight and breathable — flows freely and won't feel heavy during Garba. Full sleeves provide coverage without adding bulk.
