Getting to Know It
Vichitra silk has a smooth, slightly glossy finish and falls with some body. The Anarkali spreads out in wide, even folds when you move, and the palazzo underneath stays light, so the whole set doesn't feel heavy.
Sequins Embroidered – Up Close
The dupatta carries the work: a floral border in pink, blue and cream thread, with small sequin buttis scattered across the green. The kurta stays plain, with a side tie-up at the waist and gathered cuffs on the full sleeves.

Vichitra silk creases a little with sitting, but the fall of the flare hides most of it. A light steam on low heat sorts it out.
