The art silk blend has a smooth, slightly glossy hand and enough body to hold pleats neatly. Fine vertical stripes run through the cream body and catch the light as you move. It isn't heavy to carry, so a full evening in it stays comfortable. The zari border adds weight at the edges without making the saree stiff.
What Goes Into the Jacquard Weaving
The body carries narrow jacquard stripes with small woven buttis scattered across it. The wide red border is woven with a peacock and paisley motif in golden zari, and the pallu repeats a tight diamond jacquard in red and gold. All of it is woven into the cloth rather than printed on top, so the pattern stays sharp after washing.

Unstitched. The set comes with a running blouse piece of about 0.80m, so you can get it stitched to your own size and style.
How do I wash this saree at home?
Hand wash gently in cold water with a mild detergent and don't wring it. Dry in the shade, and dry clean when it needs a deeper wash so the zari border stays bright.
Is this saree suitable for weddings?
Yes. The red zari peacock border and jacquard pallu on a cream body give it a traditional look that suits wedding functions, receptions and pujas.
