About Faux Georgette
Faux Georgette is a lightweight, slightly crinkled fabric that drapes with a soft, fluid fall — easier to manage than Georgette and more breathable than heavier fabrics. It moves well, doesn't cling, and holds a clean pleat without stiffness. A saree you can wear comfortably through an evening event without constantly adjusting.
The Kashmiri Work
The embroidery on this saree is done in the Kashmiri needle-work style — a floral motif pattern with interlocking stems, leaves, and flowers worked across the entire fabric. Unlike border-only embroidery, the Kashmiri work here covers the full saree body. On black, the colours — blue, white, and green — show up with far more contrast than they would on a lighter base. The piping along the edge gives the saree a sharp, finished look.
